LOS FAMOSOS SE VUELCAN CON LAS REIVINDICACIONES ANTIRRACISTAS TRAS LA MUERTE DE FLOYD

Una iniciativa apoyada por Harry Styles o Katy Perry entre muchos otros

El mundo cada vez está más revuelto y sino que se lo digan a Estados Unidos donde sus habitantes no solo se preocupan por el corona virus sino también un miedo mayor y una gran indignación ha plagado sus calles tras el asesinato de George Floyd a manos de un policía. Su muerte, más la falta de sentimientos y brutalidad de la misma, ha despertado en decenas de miles de personas el sentimiento de lucha causando decenas de manifestaciones por todo el mundo ante la falta de medidas de los gobiernos por los ataques frutos del odio y la xenofobia – fobia y odio hacia los extranjeros o personas de otro color o cultura-.

Ante esto varios son los artistas como Harry Styles, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber o Halsey, entre muchos otros, quienes se han ofrecido a pagar la fianza de todas aquellas personas detenidas durante estas manifestaciones como una forma de mostrar su apoyo. Además de que esta última se ha lanzado a las calles a luchar por los derechos de las personas de color y ofrecer su ayuda curando sus heridas en la calle.

It’s become very clear to me that some of you need to see what I’ve seen. Please swipe through this. These pictures and videos don’t even scratch the surface. It’s easy from the comfort of your home to watch looting and rioting on television and condone the violent measures being taken by forces. But what you don’t see is innocent peaceful protestors being shot at and tear gassed and physically assaulted relentlessly. You think it’s not happening, it’s only the “thugs” and the “riots”, right? The police are keeping you safe right? You’re wrong. This is happening everywhere. And innocent people exercising their rights to speech and assembly are facing violence and abuse of power. With all of our medical professionals being CONSUMED and EXHAUSTED with Covid, there is little to no medical attention available. I have first hand treated men women and children who have been shot in the chest, the face, the back. Some will lose vision some have lost fingers. I have been covered in innocent blood. My father is a black man. My mother is an EMT. This week I had to put those two associations together in ways that have horrified me. This is NOT a virtue signaling post. But I HAVE to show you what I am witnessing with my own eyes. With Trump’s decision today to enforce the mobilization of armed forces on our own citizens, this has escalated beyond your privilege and comfort to not care. Please care. We are begging you to care. This is war on Americans. This is everyone’s problem. Everyone’s. #BLACKLIVESMATTER

En esta lucha entre dos bandos claramente definidos y diferenciados – racista y antirracistas- anónimos y famosos se han unido en una sola lucha pidiendo justicia y exigiendo una respuesta a Donald Trump y que asuma las responsabilidades de las brutalidades policiales.

“Cada día hago las cosas sin miedo porque soy privilegiado, y soy privilegiado cada día porque soy blanco. No ser racista no es suficiente, necesitamos ser antirracistas. El cambio social se promueve cuando una sociedad se moviliza. Me solidarizo con todos los que están protestando”, mantenía el cantante Harry Styles a través de su cuenta de Instagram.

El movimiento “Black Lives Matters” que ha surgido de estas manifestaciones ya se ha extendido por todo el mundo ocasionando miles de protestas y concentraciones exigiendo justicia por todas las personas y en especial por Floyd en EEUU, quién recordemos murió por la presión que ejercía un policía con su rodilla mientras el suplicaba que lo liberara: “Por favor, no puedo respirar”.
